A nurse who sings and strums a ukulele to get child patients smiling will deliver a welcome tonic for Britain’s Got Talent viewers on Saturday night.

Beth Porch was hailed as having the “voice of an angel” after footage of her performing for a cancer patient at Great Ormond Street Hospital was posted online last year.

The 25-year-old, who sings her own song You Taught Me What Love Is on BGT, tells the judges: “It’s a difficult job and part of processing a lot that happens is writing songs. “So the song I've written is about what I've learnt from my patients and their families.
