Sam Smith has defended their quarantine meltdown - that led to them being criticised. The singer, 27, posted a series of pictures of themself throwing a strop at the start of the nationwide lockdown - that has been put in place across the UK to prevent the deadly coronavirus from spreading and putting a strain on the NHS.
In the snaps Sam sat on the steps outside their mansion in pyjamas with their head in their hands as they wept about having to stay indoors. "Stages of a quarantine meltdown," Sam captioned the post.
Sam commented on the backlash that the snaps were met with when they chatted to Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on Heart FM on Friday morning.
