After months of lockdown, Brits may be able to invite family and friends round for BBQ's and garden gatherings as measures could ease.

Friends and family from different households could soon be able to reunite after a difficult couple of months amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Government ministers who are looking to ease lockdown restrictions could implement new relaxed measures by next month. This would approve small outdoor gatherings, however could be limited to two households, reports The Sun.

The UK lockdown which began on March 23 means Brits have been told to stay at home and only step out for exercise or essential journeys.
