Burnley chairman Mike Garlick has warned the club will go bust in August if the Premier League season is cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Clarets say they will lose £50million if the season does not restart - and warned that other clubs could face losses of double that amount.
The current Premier League campaign was suspended on Friday, with no fixed date for a return amid the worldwide Covid-19 outbreak.
While the league and its member clubs are still committed to completing the season, it is unclear when that will be possible, and whether or not games will have to be played behind closed doors.
