Cameron Diaz has described motherhood as the “best part of my life”. The Charlie’s Angels actress announced the surprise arrival of her and husband Benji Madden’s first child, a daughter named Raddix, in a post on her Instagram page in January.

Cameron has since been silent on her social media pages, but returned to Instagram on Tuesday to take part in a chat with her friend Katherine Power.

And during her appearance on the segment, she couldn’t help but gush over her precious new arrival. “I love being a mother. It’s the best, best, best part of my life,” she grinned. “I’m so grateful and so happy and it’s the best thing ever and I’m so lucky to do it with Benj and we’re having the best time.

PHILADELPHIA - No one was injured after a gunman opened fire on a Philadelphia police officer during a shootout Wednesday afternoon in Germantown.Philadelphia Police Sergeant Eric Gripp told reporters that two plainclothes officers in an unmarked car were patrolling the 4800 block of Keyser Street around 2 p.m. when they came upon a shootout between a 23-year-old and a 20-year-old.
