Prime Minister Boris Johnson has faced a lot of criticism for his coronavirus lockdown update, with people saying they have been left confused by a lack of clarity and mixed messaging.

The government released a 50-page document outlining plans to ease measures in a road map for lifting lockdown, conditional on the rate of infection falling.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock faced tough questions earlier on ITV's This Morning following the publication of the document and was involved in ill-tempered exchanges with presenter Phillip Schofield.

From tomorrow, people in England will be able to enjoy unlimited time outdoors and meet up with one person from outside their household in a park or other public open space.
