'Near normality' should return to the UK by July, Boris Johnson has reportedly told MPs. But the PM is understood to have warned that the public sticking to coronavirus lockdown rules was the only way to hit that target.

The Prime Minister was reportedly speaking with Tory backbenchers and is understood to have confirmed that parliament would return on June 2.
