The Mayor of Greater Manchester has slammed MPs' vote to 'fully' resume Parliament on June 2 amid the coronavirus pandemic as a case of "do as we say, not as we do".
Andy Burnham said Westminster has set a bad example for the country in appearing not to take "a safety first approach" in voting to resume so soon - in a row over re-opening schools.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson's plan to re-open schools on June 1 as part of No10's easing of lockdown restrictions has been met with much criticism.
