A former Cavan footballer and All-Star winner is helping organise the supply of care packages to healthcare workers looking after Covid-19 patients across the country.
Ollie Brady from Redhills along with Howard Simpson, from Roscommon, are raising money to buy personal hygiene products such as shampoo, shower gel, and wet wipes, which will be provided to staff working with coronavirus patients.
Mr Brady has organised for a distribution company to deliver the supplies to hospitals throughout Ireland, while Mr Simpson has raised over €7,000 so far.
