Chelsea chiefs are not entirely sold on the idea of bringing in Moussa Dembele this summer. The Blues are eyeing a striker in the transfer market, along with a left-back and a winger.
There are several targets on their list but forwards are hard to come by in this day and age. Lautaro Martinez, Timo Werner and Mauro Icardi are on the shortlist but the one name that has floated around Stamford Bridge for some time is Dembele.
The Lyon hotshot was heavily linked with a move in January but the French club refused Chelsea’s offer. They had no intention of letting their top goalscorer leave midway through the season, a common problem found by Frank Lampard during the winter market.
