Liverpool have put all contract talks and player recruitment on ice amid the coronavirus outbreak. The Reds won't be continuing negotiations for new deals with current players until it is over.
The contracts of Gini Wijnaldum and Dejan Lovren expire in June 2021 but both will have to wait for discussions over extensions.
While any potential moves for the likes of RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner – who is one player who has been linked to the Reds - are on hold.
Werner has scored 24 goals so far in the Bundesliga and will generate interest from across Europe once football returns to normal.
