Chrissy Teigen has resorted to bartering with strangers in public car parks to get the food she needs. The model, 34, and her husband John Legend revealed that they were meeting strangers to trade banana bread, wine and pie in order to get three lettuces.
They live in Los Angeles where locals have been panic buying food and have been advised to stay in their homes amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Crissy filmed herself on the way there, saying to the camera: "A deal is about to go down; banana bread, two pieces of pie, a bottle of wine all for three..." The couple met with two men in a church car park to exchange their goods.
