The Chairman of Ayr Cricket Club put his best foot forward when he completed the equivalent of the Kiltwalk- in his own garage.Stuart Jefferson took part in the ‘virtual challenge’ to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease Scotland.The 52 year-old vet, from Ayr, was denied the chance to take part in this year’s Glasgow Kiltwalk due to the Coronavirus pandemic.However, determined Stuart decided to do the next best thing- complete the 23-mile challenge on a treadmill.Stuart completed his marathon fundraiser in around six hours and managed to raise about £2000 for MND Scotland.And it’s all the more poignant for the Jefferson family as Stuart lost his father Howard to MND in October last year.The money raised by Stuart- and members of his
