Miguel Borja, who has played ten times for Colombia, has hit out after finding his cow lifeless. Borja, who plays for Colombian club Junior on loan from Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, believes the animal was “abused” in an attack during the coronavirus lockdown.
And the 27-year-old, who was part of Colombia’s squad for the 2018 World Cup, posted a video of himself alongside the stricken animal on social media.
The animal can be seen looking weak as it lays flat on the ground while Borja feeds it a banana. Speaking to the camera, he said: "Some guys raped my cow days ago.
They abused her and left her lying on the ground. "I believe in God, and I pray for her to recover. I also hope God will punish the people responsible." While the caption
