Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank had declared his adoration for his co-star Peter Ash - and not for the first time - following fresh 'hard to watch' scenes for the pair.
Fans of the ITV soap were saddened following Wednesday night's (January 3) trip to Weatherfield. Billy Mayhew, played by Dan, was hoping to book a holiday for himself, Paul, played by Peter, and Summer Spellman but found travel insurance was astronomical due to Paul living with Motor Neurone Disease.
Paul insisted it was fine and that he was happy to stay at home anyway. But as he headed to the Rovers where sister Gemma Winter-Brown was on shift, David Platt joined him and tried to cheer him up with some sangria in a bid to bring the feel of Spain to the cobbles instead. Needing the toilet, David offered to help but Paul was insistent it'd be fine because his PA, Moses, should be arriving soon.
