Sarah Ferguson was all smiles today as she greeted royal fans after her skin cancer diagnosis. The brave Duchess of York visited her dermatologist at King William VII hospital in Marylebone, continuing her recovery from malignant melanoma.

Dressed in a navy blue blazer and matching skirt, she stopped to chat with locals before being driven off. She even shared a four-word update saying "I'm fine, thank you", reports the Daily Mirror.

Last week, Fergie revealed her shocking diagnosis, just six months after her battle with breast cancer.The ex-wife of Prince Andrew underwent an eight-hour operation last July to remove one of her breasts after doctors discovered the disease in a routine mammogram.

Despite the setback, Fergie has vowed to turn her "distress into a positive". Doctors told her she was suffering from the most serious form of skin cancer after biopsies were taken from moles last year.The 64 year old grandma posted her first message since her diagnosis this week on Instagram.
