Coronavirus: 19 more deaths and 330 additional cases confirmed here

A further 19 people diagnosed with Covid-19 in Ireland have died, the Department of Health has confirmed. There have now been a total of 1,303 Covid-19 related deaths here.

There have also been 330 additional new cases of the coronavirus diagnosed, bringing the number of confirmed cases here to 21,506.

Detailed data from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre, correct as of midnight, Friday 1 May (relating to 21,064 cases), reveals: -  58% are female and 42% are male -  the median age of confirmed cases is 49 years -  2,825 cases (13%) have been hospitalised.
