NHS supporters keen to show their support during Clap for Carers have been told to stay away from hospitals. The weekly 8pm clap has proved popular since the UK entered lockdown amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Ahead of last week's Clap for Carers, the Daily Mirror reported how the Metropolitan Police would be sending Londoners home if they were seen gathering for the occasion.
