Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government today directed administration and police to take stern action against landlords and house owners if they force doctors, paramedical staff and health care personnel to vacate their rented residences amid coronavirus outbreak.
There were some reports that some doctors combatting deadly coronavirus disease were asked to leave their rented homes in the national capital.
Some doctors in temporary residences had been forcefully evicted by their landlords over infection fears, the Resident Doctor's Association of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi told Reuters. "(They) are now stranded on the roads with all their luggage, nowhere to go, across the country," the association wrote
