Coronavirus in sport: Grants to pay for immediate basic needs of horse racing workers

Grants are available to cover the immediate basic needs of employees in the horse racing industry. Charity Racing Welfare is providing financial help for workers to pay for food, electricity and heating.

The scheme is open to anyone who believes they may be eligible and participants will be subject to a needs-based assessment.

Single applicants can apply for a fortnightly amount of £150, while families could pick up £210 to cover essentials.
