A man fatally knifed his girlfriend and her seven-year-old daughter before burying their corpses in the garden during the coronavirus lockdown.
Cristina Iglesias and her daughter Ada were reported missing on Wednesday last week. On Saturday, they were found in the back garden of their house located in Monte Chingolo, in the province of Buenos Aires, eastern Argentina.
Suspect Abel Romero was found walking the streets in the Rafael Calzada area, breaking the coronavirus quarantine. He had reportedly been spending the lockdown with the mum and her daughter.
During a police interrogation, he allegedly told officers that the woman and girl were dead, saying that three men had killed them before forcing him to bury the bodies.
