Napoli are set to ignore advice and return to training next week despite the coronavirus pandemic in Italy. The Covid-19 outbreak has hit Italy more than any other nation worldwide with the country's northern regions especially affected.
Serie A initially went behind closed doors in an effort to contain the disease but then cancelled all sport on March 9. The coronavirus has killed 4032 people in Italy and Damiano Tommasi, president of the Italian Players' Union, has said it would be dangerous if Napoli's players reconvened.
