The Spanish Government has reportedly informed La Liga that they will have to play games behind closed doors until 2021. Football in Spain was suspended indefinitely on March 23 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and, although there are tentative plans in place for a restart, reports from Spain say that no fans will be allowed into stadiums for at least the rest of the year.
La Liga president Javier Tebas met with clubs on Wednesday and informed them that they will need to adjust their budgets to cope with the loss of matchday revenue.
