Twenty-six new COVID-19 cases have been reported in London and Middlesex, local health officials said Saturday.At the same time, the Middlesex-London Health Unit has confirmed that people aged 75 to 79 will be eligible to receive the vaccine as of Monday.The region’s pandemic case tally now stands at 6,562, of which 6,206 have resolved, an increase of 89 from the day before.
At least 185 local deaths have been connected to the virus, most recently on March 8.At least 171 cases are active in the region as of Saturday, the health unit says.
