COVID-19: 32 new cases in London-Middlesex, 13 in Sarnia-Lambton

Thirty-two new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the London-Middlesex region, the Middlesex-London Health Unit reported Friday.At the same time, the province announced it would be shortening the interval between doses of the vaccine, starting with people aged 80-plus next week.

Local officials, however, say they’re still trying to get first doses to all of those who are currently eligible.Friday’s update brings the region’s pandemic case tally to 12,157, of which 11,563 have resolved, an increase of 87 from the day before.
