Fifty-five new COVID-19 cases and no new deaths have been reported in London-Middlesex, local health unit officials said Saturday.The update brings the region’s pandemic case total to 11,548, of which 10,581 have been resolved, an increase of 92 from the day before.A total of 212 deaths have been reported during the pandemic.
The most recent deaths reported Friday involved a man in his 50s and a woman in her 80s, the health unit said. Neither was linked to a seniors’ facility.Saturday marks the region’s sixth day in a row of case increases under 100, the longest such stretch since late March.As of Saturday, at least 755 COVID-19 cases are active.
