NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led Delhi government on Tuesday announced a five-point plan to tackle the spread of coronavirus in the national capital.
The plan includes rapid random testing at hotspots, tracing patients, scaling-up treatment for up to 30,000 active patients, teamwork with central and state governments and tracking.
Delhi has one of the highest number of covid-19 cases in India, with 525 infected patients. Of the total, 329 are from the religious congregation organised by Tablighi Jamaat mid-March at Nizamuddin, also the largest hotspot in the city.
