James Blunt in their latest effort to repel protesters who are camped outside of parliament.The demonstrators, who are angry at COVID-19 vaccine mandates, have been blocking the streets of the country’s capital, Wellington, since Tuesday (February 8).Tactics used by the local authorities to try and get rid of the protesters have included turning on the water sprinklers on the lawn where they camped. In an effort to support LGBTQ nightlife workers affected by the coronavirus pandemic, the Stonewall Gives Back Initiative partnered with World of Wonder Productions for a live-stream concert on Thursday featuring Rufus Wainwright, Cyndi Lauper, Kristin Chenoweth, Troye Sivan and more. The event was hosted by Michelle Visage and Tyler Oakley, with proceeds going toward an emergency fund for industry workers.

The Stonewall Inn and World of Wonder Productions have announced “The Stonewall Inn Gives Back!,” a livestream concert event set to take place this Thursday, April 23 at 8 p.m. Eastern to benefit LGBTQ+ nightlife workers directly impacted by COVID-19.
