A dad-of-five has spent hundreds of pounds on groceries for the vulnerable after seeing an elderly woman in tears because a shop had run out of aspirin.
Dean Vine, 33, ran into the woman while out shopping for essentials in his town of Northfleet, Kent. She was distressed because she need painkillers but the shop she was in had run out, as has often been the case during the coronavirus pandemic, Wales Online reports. "I had a few other shops to go to and managed to get some aspirin for her at a pharmacy," Mr Vine said. "She was so grateful it was like an epiphany moment.
