Davie Weir the club’s new director of football. The Tynecastle chief, hard on the heels of bringing Robbie Neilson back to Tynecastle as first team coach, is understood to be interested in handing Weir the role of overseeing their football operation.
The 50-year-old’s most recent role has been as pathway development manager at Brighton, looking after the Premier League club’s loaned players, but Weir also has extensive experience as Mark Warburton’s assistant manager at Rangers and Nottingham Forest.
