Dead bodies have been piled up in a truck outside a funeral home in New York as the city struggles to deal with the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic.
Chaotic scenes showing coffins and body bags stacked haphazardly on top of each other were captured by overwhelmed funeral staff in Flatbush, Brooklyn.
The Brooklyn borough is said to have the highest number of fatalities from the Covid-19 crisis in the city. Footage and images show bodies and coffins stacked on chairs with distinctive orange body bags for coronavirus victims outside one funeral home.
A former staff member can be heard saying: "They don't think the corona is real. Look at these bodies. Corona is definitely real.
