Donald Trump and First Lady Melania test positive for Covid-19

US President Donald Trump has confirmed he and First Lady Melania have tested positive for Covid-19, adding they will begin the process of quarantine and recovery "immediately". "We will get through this together," Mr Trump said in a tweet as he announced the test result.
The news was later confirmed in a letter from the President's doctor. The White House physician confirmed Mr Trump will carry out his duties "without disruption" during quarantine which will take place "within the White House".
They are "both well," the doctor said, however the latest reports suggest the administration has removed the Florida campaign trip from Mr Trump's schedule.
