A family driving to Brighton amid the coronavirus lockdown told police they were "bored and wanted some fresh air." The brazen motorist was driving while on the phone with two children and a baby in the car, none of whom were wearing seatbelts.
When stopped at Clacket Lane Services in Kent, police discovered the driver was also uninsured and driving without a licence.
The car was loaded onto the back of a truck near Sevenoaks. Kent's road policing unit branded the incident inappropriate on Monday.
A spokesperson tweeted: "Stopped at Clacket Lane Services. No insurance. None licence holder. On phone. Two under 12's unrestrained.
