A couple of yobs brutally attacked an epileptic man and booted his head as if they were “taking a penalty for England”, a court heard.
Thugs Karl Hornsby, 36, and Jamie Campy, 35, left their victim behind as he lay unconscious with a broken nose following the sickening attack.
Drug-addled, aggressive Hornsby came into a home with blood on his hands saying he had just "battered someone". He immediately made accusations to a 31-year-old man at the house on Thornton Street, North Ormesby, Middlesbrough.
Teesside Crown Court heard he punched the victim in the face, knocking him to the floor before Campy joined in the attack, Teeside Live reported. "Both prevented the complainant from leaving the address," said prosecutor Jolyon Perks.
