Hundreds of people across the region have been turning to Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service for help amid the coronavirus crisis.Chief executive officer Phil Stewart said Covid-19 is plunging people into debt despair with an ever-growing number wondering how they are going to make ends meet.He said: “Workers being furloughed, made redundant, or having their hours or salaries cut as businesses try to survive in challenging restrictions to try to curb the spread of the pandemic is causing considerable upheaval across the region.”In just two weeks, more than 600 people have asked for help as they “wrestle with issues that are causing great anxiety or stress”.And Mr Stewart said the specialist team have been contacted about “well
