Dyson, famous for its high-end vacuum cleaners and other domestic appliances, is applying its expertise to build ventilators for coronavirus patients.
The company, which was founded by billionaire inventor Sir James Dyson, will build 15,000 ventilators, according to a Fast Company report.
The U.K.’s government has ordered 10,000 ventilators from Dyson to grapple with the COVID-19 crisis. As of Thursday morning, the U.K.
had more than 9,000 coronavirus cases, and 463 have died from the infection, according to the BBC. Exercising, visiting a grocery store and ordering delivery food are frequently permitted under stay at home orders.
