An East Kilbride pensioner is on the hunt for a good samaritan who cut the grass for three blocks of flats. Elizabeth Henderson, 82, lives in Glen Prosen in St Leonards, and was taken aback when a kind-hearted soul decided to look out his lawn mower and give the overgrown lawned areas around the flats a good trim.Grass cutting was one of the services which was put on hold by South Lanarkshire Council amid the coronavirus crisis – although it has now resumed with some other maintenance services.Totally unaware of who the person was Elizabeth is now keen for them to get in touch.She told the News:“The grass was really bad with it not being cut for weeks like it usually is.
