Eastenders to resume filming by the end of June amid crisis

It has been almost two months since most soaps have had to put a halt in filming due to the current worldwide pandemic, including BBC’s Eastenders.

However, it seems Eastenders now has planning to return to filming as there will come a stage when they will have used up all their pre-recorded episodes.

BBC’s director of content Charlotte Moore has spoken out about the soap and when they hope to get back to some sort of normality so the show can continue to air.

Speaking to The Telegraph she said: ‘We’ve been looking carefully at how we can safely put some of our shows back into production, and I’m pleased to announce that we plan to begin filming again on both EastEnders and Top Gear by the end of June.’ She also shared: ‘We’re also
