Manchester United chief Ed Woodward is not in favour of the Premier League being voided which would deny Liverpool the title.

The coronavirus pandemic has put a stop to football around the globe. It has led to suggestions that the current campaign could be scrapped amid fears there is not enough time to complete it.

All 20 of the Premier League clubs sent senior figures to meet this week as they look to decide on the relevant steps. But the Athletic reports that Woodward showed no desire to void this season with his input being described as "very fair".

Liverpool have a near unassailable lead at the top of the Premier League and are poised to end their thirty year wait for a league title.
