Harry Maguire has asked his Manchester United team-mates to donate 30 per cent of their wages to charity during the COVID-19 crisis.
The United skipper sent a message to team-mates asking them to make a pledge to Manchester hospitals and help fight coronavirus.
And the entire squad has overwhelmingly agreed to the donation and are desperate to do their bit to help, report the Mirror. It comes after extensive talks between Maguire and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward about the players making a charitable donation.
United, one of the richest clubs in the world, do not want the players to take a pay cut but are on board with the desire to make a charity donaton.
