Emmerdale blunder as Marlon and Al clap for carers on Mondays – not Thursdays

EMMERDALE fans spotted a blunder in last night's lockdown episode with Marlon Dingle and Al Chapman. Viewers say they spotted the error and claimed it was a mistake by the show's producers.

During each of the soap's special lockdown episodes, the screen would fade to black and the day would appear before the start of each scene.

On day one and day 21, Marlon, Ellis and Al were seen going outside to clap in appreciation of NHS workers. However, eagle-eyed fans spotted that both those days were in fact Mondays and not Thursdays when clap for carers usually took place.

A fan tweeted: "There was no NHS clap on Day 1 of lockdown it was a Monday!" Another user replied: "Well spotted." While another viewer said: "Day 21 was Monday!
