Kate Garraway has spoken out about the "missed moments" as her husband Derek Draper remains in hospital battling the effects of coronavirus.

The 53-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter has faced much of the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns alone with her children, after Derek, 53, was placed in an induced coma after being admitted to hospital with Cocid-19.

Kate has spoken frequently since then about how much she and their children Darcey and Billy miss him. The GMB star will be hosting the show's 1 Million Minutes Awards, as the campaign marks its fifth anniversary of urging viewers to pledge their time and volunteer to help others.
