KATE Garraway explains she missed Good Morning Britain because she and the kids were exposed to Covid - while husband Derek Draper is in intensive care.
The presenter, 53, was missing from the ITV morning show for a few weeks after her family suffered a coronavirus scare. Luckily, Kate and kids Darcey, 14, and Billy, 11, all tested negative and the star returned to the show on Thursday morning to tell viewers.
She said: "It's lovely to be back, I'm sorry I've been absent for a couple of weeks now. "Well, a few challenges kicking off, challenges with Derek as there always are. "So we had outside of Derek a little bit of a scare.
