Emotional Mark Wright fights back tears as he admits he misses his grandad in lockdown

MARK Wright has fought back tears on live radio as he got choked up talking about NHS workers and how much he misses his own grandad.

Mark, 33, got emotional on his Heart radio show on Thursday night as he read out emotional messages to National Health Service frontline workers.

The TV host wanted to read some messages from listeners before the weekly Clap For Carers tribute which sees Brits applaud the efforts of NHS workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

When one person wrote in to pay tribute to their grandad who had worked as a paramedic for 30 years, Mark could not hid his emotions.
