Formula One chiefs will announce two grands prix at Silverstone in August after they received government assurances, according to the Times.
Sport in the UK has been buoyed by the government, who are set to ease quarantine rules for football clubs and F1 teams in the coming weeks.
On May 22 the government announced it was introducing a 14-day quarantine period for international arrivals. But people involved in elite sports events will be exempted from the rule if they detail their movements.
F1 chiefs will announce a new European calendar this week, which will feature eight races across the continent. The first two races will take place in Austria, with races four and five taking place at Silverstone.
