Family's horror as deadly snake tries to enter home while they're trapped inside

Terrifying footage has shown a boa constrictor snake attempt to slither its way into a family’s home as they are kept trapped inside during the coronavirus lockdown.

The chilling clip, filmed by engineer Camila Palermo, shows the reptile moving back and forth outside their front door. It seems to be trying to find an opening but is unsuccessful.

The video ends with a snake expert coming to the rescue by removing the constrictor with its hands. Camila filmed the nail-biting moment in her home in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro.

She said: “I was sitting on the sofa with my boyfriend and my two children. “I was the first one to see it, I looked around five times to be sure it was real.
