Pals have paid tribute to an “amazing dad with a heart of gold” who has tragically died from coronavirus at just 34. Doting dad Alex Lennie lost his battle with the virus on April 18 at the Royal Liverpool Hospital in the north-west Merseyside city.
Pals said the keen footballer had no underlying health issues and was “fit and healthy”. Best mate Bradley Darnell told Liverpool Echo Alex would have done “anything” for four-year-old daughter.
He wept: "He cared about everyone and would always be there for you, he had a heart of gold. "I can't even explain how much his daughter meant to him.
He would drop everything for her, he was an amazing dad. "He messaged me two weeks ago and said don't go into work because I'm on 60% oxygen in the Royal
