Imagine waking up to this. Fly-tippers dumped a huge pile of rubbish in someone's front garden. It included two wooden pallets, a foam mattress, a garden gate, cardboard, a weights bench and even an old microwave.
Gina Parker discovered the waste outside her home on Albion Drive in Droylsden on Wednesday morning. The 61-year-old says there's so much it must have been dumped in the early hours of the morning by someone using a van or truck.
And because it's on private land the council doesn't have any obligation to clean it up. Luckily after Gina's daughter Steph Kilgour posted a picture of the fly-tipping on Facebook a builder working nearby offered to clean it up and put in his skip.
