German nightclub hosts drive-in rave in spite of the coronavirus

Even a global pandemic can’t stop Germany from a rave. After the World Club Dome festival was postponed to 2021 due to the coronavirus, BigCityBeats, the team behind the festival, found a way to give people their party fix while still upholding social-distancing rules.

They brought fans to Autokino Düsseldorf Drive-In Cinema Stadium, filling the parking lot with cars for a drive-in rave April 30.

The drive-in beats fest featured artists such as DJ Le Shuuk, Tiefblau, Plastikfunk and Topic on the setlist along with fireworks and strobe lights.

Each car was instructed to tune into the set through their radios. Ravers partied in their respective cars, honking with excitement.
