Manny Jacinto has joined Hulu’s upcoming series, Nine Perfect Strangers. Deadline reports that The Good Place star will join Melissa McCarthy and Nicole Kidman in the series as Yao, a bright-eyed man-kid with a hipster vibe.

After a life and death encounter with Masha (Kidman), Yao finds himself as her right hand man at Tranquillum, a wellness resort with unusual practices.

He’s deeply committed to Masha’s self-improvement techniques and teachings and is in entirely in her thrall. Nine Perfect Strangers, based on the book from Liane Moriarty, takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living.
